Record a manual payment
Select Record Payment from an invoice or Payments, then enter the received amount, method, date, and available notes.
Add payment instructions
Open Settings and add the bank transfer or manual payment information that customers should see.
Configure customer PayPal payments
Use the customer payment settings in CRM Gem. This is separate from the CRM Gem Pro subscription.
Supported PayPal currencies
PayPal payment availability depends on the invoice currency. PayPal supports selected currencies and does not automatically convert unsupported CRM Gem invoice currencies.
LKR and unsupported currencies
LKR is not supported for CRM Gem PayPal Checkout. A usable PayPal option should not appear. The customer can use another payment method shown on the invoice.

Add accurate customer payment instructions in Settings.

Only expect PayPal Checkout when the invoice uses a supported currency.

Offer an alternative
For LKR or another unsupported currency, use Bank Transfer / Manual Payment or invoice in a PayPal-supported currency.

Record receipt
After receiving an external payment, select Record Payment in CRM Gem.

Frequently asked questions
Can an LKR invoice be paid through PayPal Checkout?

No. CRM Gem does not claim automatic currency conversion for customer PayPal invoice payments.
